To Know or Not To Know
It is very exciting when you are able to secure a tenant for your property. You begin to think about your income, future, retirement, securing your family for the future, etc. As that new tenant moves in, you perform a move-in inspection to help protect yourself and the tenant to protect themselves. Many tenants will live in that property for years, and you begin to wonder what is going on in your property. Maybe it was your previous home and you are thinking about moving back into it.
When it comes time for the tenant to move out, you perform a move out inspection and find out that the tenant did not maintain the property according to the lease requirements. Or you find out that there were major issues that the tenants failed to let you know about that will need to be repaired that would have been minor issues had you known about them earlier.
You are now wondering how much all of this will cost you and you are concern about your property, your family’s future, retirement, etc. Now you are questioning yourself, wondering what would have happened if you had caught the issues before they had gotten out of hand. The body content of your post goes here. Unfortunately, this happens to a lot of property owners who manage property themselves. Not knowing what is happening to your property while the tenant is living there is like gambling with your investment. You might come out okay, but you can come out with a huge hole in your pocket.
This gamble is something that we do not like playing with the properties that we manage for our owners, so we lower the risk and put the odds back in our owner’s favor. We provide semi-annual inspections for all our properties. We look to make sure that the tenants are maintaining the properties according to their lease. This way we there is no surprises when a tenant moves out. Those who fail to abide by the terms of the lease will face legal actions to force their compliance.
Another great reason about our 6 months inspections, a tenant is a not homeowner therefore they do not look at the property as one and do not pay attention to repairs that may be needed throughout your property. As we go through our inspections, we look for things that may be needing repairs and trying to catch any problems before they become more serious. All of this is designed to help you to budget for future repairs but also help save money by catching problems before they cause more damage.
Once our inspections are done, we share them with our owners through their online portal. Our owners know what is happening at their property while the tenants are living there, allowing them to be able to rest comfortably and enjoy the important things in life.New Paragraph
